1. Introduction

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our website and services, including PAS2030 certification support, MCS solar PV installation, battery storage solutions, retrofit coordination, and consultancy services. By accessing our website or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

BKAYZ Ltd is a company registered in the United Kingdom. Our registered office address is available upon request. Throughout these Terms, "we," "us," "our," and "BKAYZ" refer to BKAYZ Ltd, and "you," "your," and "client" refer to the individual or organisation engaging our services.

2. Our Services

BKAYZ Ltd provides the following professional services:

• PAS2030 Certification Support: Guidance, documentation preparation, and audit assistance for installers seeking PAS2030 certification.
• MCS Solar PV Installation: Design, supply, and installation of solar photovoltaic systems compliant with MCS standards.
• Battery Storage Solutions: Supply and installation of energy storage systems compatible with solar PV installations.
• Retrofit Coordination: Project management and coordination services for retrofit projects under PAS2035.
• Consultancy Services: Expert advice on energy efficiency, renewable technologies, and regulatory compliance.

All services are subject to availability and may require site surveys, assessments, or preliminary evaluations before confirmation.

3. Quotes & Estimates

Any quotes or estimates provided by BKAYZ Ltd are valid for 30 days from the date of issue, unless otherwise stated. Quotes are based on the information provided at the time and may be subject to revision if:

• Site conditions differ from those described or anticipated
• Additional work is required due to unforeseen circumstances
• Material or labour costs increase significantly
• Changes are requested by the client after the quote is issued

A formal contract or work order must be signed before any work commences. Verbal agreements are not binding until confirmed in writing.

4. Payments & Fees

Payment terms are as follows:

• Deposit: A non-refundable deposit of 25-50% may be required before work commences, depending on the project scope.
• Progress Payments: For larger projects, staged payments may be agreed upon at key milestones.
• Final Payment: Balance is due upon completion of the work, unless alternative arrangements are agreed in writing.
• Late Payment: Invoices not paid within 30 days may incur interest at 8% above the Bank of England base rate, plus reasonable debt recovery costs.

All fees are exclusive of VAT, which will be added at the applicable rate. We accept bank transfers, credit/debit cards, and other payment methods as agreed.

5. Cancellation & Refunds

Consumer Rights: If you are a consumer, you have the right to cancel your contract within 14 days of signing, in accordance with the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. However, if work has already commenced with your agreement, you may be liable for costs incurred.

By BKAYZ: We reserve the right to cancel or postpone any project if:

• Site conditions make installation impossible or unsafe
• Required permissions or approvals are not obtained
• Material supply issues significantly impact the project
• Payment terms are not met

In the event of cancellation by BKAYZ, any deposits paid will be refunded in full, less costs already incurred.

6. Warranty & Guarantees

BKAYZ Ltd provides the following warranties:

• Installation Workmanship: 10-year warranty on all installation work carried out by our certified installers.
• Solar Panels: 25-year performance warranty provided by the manufacturer (terms vary by brand).
• Battery Systems: 10-year warranty with 70% capacity retention guarantee (manufacturer terms apply).
• Inverters: 5-10 year warranty depending on manufacturer and model.

Warranties are void if:

• Products are modified, repaired, or installed by unauthorised persons
• Damage results from misuse, neglect, accident, or improper maintenance
• Products are used in conditions outside specified operating parameters

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, BKAYZ Ltd's total liability to you shall not exceed the total fees paid by you for the services provided. We shall not be liable for:

• Indirect or consequential losses, including loss of profit, revenue, or savings
• Loss or damage resulting from third-party actions or events outside our reasonable control
• Any failure to perform due to force majeure events (e.g., extreme weather, strikes, supply chain disruptions)

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

8. Compliance & Standards

BKAYZ Ltd is committed to delivering services that comply with all relevant UK standards and regulations, including:

• PAS2030 and PAS2035 for retrofit and energy efficiency measures
• MCS (Microgeneration Certification Scheme) standards for renewable installations
• Building Regulations (Part L, Part P, and relevant sections)
• Electrical Safety Standards (BS 7671/IET Wiring Regulations)
• Health and Safety at Work Act 1974

We maintain appropriate accreditations and certifications to ensure our work meets the highest quality standards.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of BKAYZ Ltd or its licensors and is protected by UK and international copyright laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from our content without our express written permission.

Any reports, designs, or documents prepared by BKAYZ Ltd for clients remain our intellectual property until full payment is received, at which point the client receives a non-exclusive license to use them for the intended purpose.

10. Data Protection
